We are collaborating with a client, a publicly traded organization, that is focused on enhancing their financial and supply chain operations. As they expand, they seek a committed Techno-Functional Business Systems Analyst (BSA) with substantial expertise in the NetSuite ERP system to assist the finance department and ensure adherence to SOX regulations.

Role Summary:
The Techno-Functional BSA will be pivotal in supporting the finance team with auditing, data structuring, reporting, and integration with external vendors. The ideal candidate will be a Subject Matter Expert in NetSuite, particularly in finance, with knowledge in supply chain management and inventory control being advantageous. This position requires collaboration with business stakeholders, establishing controls and processes, and enhancing system capabilities to optimize overall operations.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Audit Assistance: Provide support for SOX compliance audits and ensure financial closing procedures meet regulatory standards.
  • Data Structuring & Job Scaling: Assist in job scaling projects and develop effective data structures to enhance reporting and analytics.
  • Reporting Development: Design and maintain custom reports, saved searches, and ad hoc reporting tailored to the finance team's requirements.
  • Customer Data Oversight: Manage customer data and bundles through third-party vendors, ensuring data accuracy and integrity.
  • NetSuite Expertise: Act as a subject matter expert (SME) in NetSuite, advising the finance team on optimizing system configuration and functionality.
  • Integration Coordination: Work with external vendors (such as ADP, Workday, Adaptive Planning) to ensure seamless integration and data flow.
  • System Issue Resolution: Troubleshoot issues within NetSuite, collaborating closely with business partners to resolve technical challenges.
  • Change Deployment: Assist in implementing new changes, functionalities, and releases within the NetSuite ERP system.
  • User Acceptance Testing (UAT): Lead UAT processes for new features and functionalities to ensure successful deployment.
  • Workflow Automation: Engage in automating workflows related to payables and procurement processes.
  • Continuous Improvement: Collaborate with the finance team to identify opportunities for process enhancements and system optimizations.

Qualifications:

  • Experience: Proven experience as a Techno-Functional BSA, with a strong emphasis on NetSuite ERP.
  • NetSuite Knowledge: Comprehensive understanding of NetSuite modules, especially in finance.
  • SOX Compliance Familiarity: Knowledge of SOX compliance requirements and auditing processes.
  • Reporting Proficiency: Experience in developing custom reports, saved searches, and utilizing NetSuite's reporting tools.
  • Integration Understanding: Familiarity with integration processes involving third-party vendors such as ADP, Workday, and Adaptive Planning.
  • Technical Skills: Strong analytical and troubleshooting abilities; effective communication skills with both IT and business stakeholders.
  • Educational Background: Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Information Technology, or a related discipline.
