Project Coordinator, Academic Medical Center Planning

About the Role
The Project Manager, AMC Planning is a critical member of the Northwestern Medicine team, responsible for managing and supporting project logistics related to design, construction, and activation for the academic medical center.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide project support throughout the design, construction, and activation processes for the AMC.
- Support and facilitate advisory committees and user groups related to inpatient, ambulatory, ancillary, and support services.
- Manage tasks such as issue resolution, project documentation, data management, and project status/dashboards.
- Lead project meetings with sponsors and stakeholders.
- Work in conjunction with Planning and Construction colleagues to ensure that plans are coordinated across teams/disciplines, supporting the defined future state vision for the campus.
- Support the identification and resolution of potential risks as well as the implementation of mitigation plans to ensure projects stay on schedule and on budget.
- Document and reinforce key decisions as needed throughout design, construction, and activation.
- Manage and support change management as needed.
Qualifications
The ideal candidate will possess a Bachelor's degree in business, healthcare administration, or a closely related field, as well as a minimum of two years of management experience. Proven ability to plan and execute process change throughout an organization, project development and management experience, and the ability to work with members of the leadership team are required.
