Job Responsibilities

The successful candidate will be responsible for providing comprehensive hematology care to patients, including inpatient and outpatient services. This will involve conducting health assessments, developing patient care plans, ordering and interpreting tests, and prescribing medications. The ideal candidate will have excellent communication and teamwork skills, as well as the ability to work collaboratively with other healthcare professionals.

Requirements

To be considered for this role, applicants must have a Master's or Doctorate degree in nursing, as well as current licensure as a Registered Nurse (RN) and Advanced Practice Nurse (APN) in the State of Illinois. Additionally, the candidate must hold current certification from a national certifying organization and have experience in hematology or a related specialty. Strong work ethic, interpersonal and communication skills, and the ability to work autonomously and collaboratively with other healthcare professionals are essential for this role.

Benefits

Rush University Medical Center offers a competitive salary range of $120,000 - $180,000 per year, depending on experience. Additionally, the successful candidate will be eligible for a comprehensive benefits package, including medical, dental, and vision insurance, as well as a 401(k) retirement plan.
