Status: Full-time, Salary Exempt

Position Overview: The Supervisor of Accounts Receivable and Payable will assist the Director of Finance in fulfilling the responsibilities of the Finance and Accounting Department. This position involves managing the Accounts Receivable and Payable team to guarantee precise and prompt financial operations.

Key Responsibilities:
  1. Financial Operations:
    • Support daily, month-end, and year-end functions of the Finance and Accounting Department.
    • Lead year-end and other audit activities.
    • Examine transactions to ensure appropriate General Ledger (GL) account entries.
    • Oversee the Accounts Receivable and Payable team, ensuring effective task management.
  2. Asset Management:
    • Manage Fixed Asset and Depreciation schedules.
    • Assist with tax reporting and payments in collaboration with our CPA firm.
  3. Regulatory Compliance:
    • Ensure maintenance of business licenses and other governmental registrations.
    • Complete government censuses and surveys as required.
  4. Financial Reconciliation:
    • Prepare reconciliations for general ledger accounts.
    • Conduct period closing journal entries and processes.
  5. Administrative Tasks:
    • Perform additional accounting, financial, and administrative duties as necessary.
    • Carry out other responsibilities as assigned by the Director of Finance.
