Key Responsibilities- Orient and train certified nursing assistants and sitters to ensure they possess the necessary skills and knowledge to provide high-quality patient care.
- Coordinate training for regulatory competencies such as Basic Life Support (BLS), Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS), and Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS) to ensure our staff is up-to-date with the latest best practices.
- Oversee the continuing education requirements distributed through the Maryland Nurses Association to ensure our staff meets the necessary standards.
- Participate in professional growth and development opportunities for individuals within the nursing division to foster a culture of continuous learning and improvement.
- Perform other duties as assigned by management to support the overall goals and objectives of the organization.
- Must possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
- A minimum of an Associate's degree in Business or a related field is required; a Bachelor's degree is preferred.
- Experience working with people, particularly in a healthcare setting, is essential.
- Must possess strong teaching and training skills to effectively communicate with staff and facilitate learning.
