Caregiver Assistant

We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Caregiver to join our team at Sapphire Health Services. As a Caregiver, you will play a vital role in providing personalized care and support to our residents, promoting their independence, dignity, and well-being.
Responsibilities- Assist residents with daily activities, such as bathing, dressing, and grooming
- Monitor and report any changes in residents' physical or mental health
- Prepare and serve meals, ensuring a safe and enjoyable dining experience
- Provide companionship and build positive relationships with residents to reduce feelings of isolation or loneliness
- Maintain accurate records of care provided, including daily logs, progress notes, and incident reports
- Ensure resident confidentiality and maintain a safe environment by identifying and addressing potential hazards
- Respond promptly and appropriately to emergencies, following established protocols
- Collaborate with the care team to provide coordinated care and communicate effectively with residents, families, and team members
- Present for staff meetings and trainings, and perform other duties as assigned
- High school diploma or equivalent required
- Previous experience in caregiving, home care, or community-based care is preferred
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team, with patience, empathy, and a genuine desire to help others
- Good organizational and time-management skills, with the ability to perform physical tasks such as lifting, bending, and assisting clients with mobility
