Job Summary

Life Skills Autism Academy is seeking a highly skilled and compassionate Behavioral Therapist to join our team. As a key member of our staff, you will play a vital role in providing Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA) therapy to children with Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD).

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide one-on-one and group therapy sessions to children with ASD, utilizing evidence-based ABA techniques.
  • Develop and implement individualized treatment plans in collaboration with Board Certified Behavior Analysts (BCBAs).
  • Collect and record data on client behavior, tracking progress and making adjustments to treatment plans as needed.
  • Assist with parent and caregiver training, ensuring they are equipped to support their child's development.
  • Maintain accurate and detailed records of client interactions, therapy sessions, and progress.
Requirements
  • Current certification as a Registered Behavior Technician (RBT) or willingness to obtain within 45 days of employment.
  • High school diploma or equivalent required; degree in a related field (e.g., psychology, education) preferred.
  • Reliable transportation and ability to travel to client locations as needed.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with children, parents, and colleagues.
  • Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information with discretion.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Experience working with children with ASD or other developmental disabilities.
  • Knowledge of ABA principles and practices.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and adapt to changing circumstances.
  • Strong problem-solving and critical thinking skills.
