Job Description

Papa John's is seeking a highly skilled and motivated Shift Manager to join our team. As a Shift Manager, you will be responsible for supervising shifts and work areas to ensure high-quality products and customer service are delivered.

Key Responsibilities
  • Supervise shifts and work areas to ensure high-quality products and customer service
  • Manage operations, including the execution of all Company policies, procedures, programs, and systems
  • Ensure compliance with all federal, state, and local laws and ethical business practices
  • Adhere to guidelines, techniques, and expectations for each station, including dough management, accuracy, and proper portioning
  • Perform assigned work station duties, such as making quality products and following product preparation procedures
  • Contribute to achieving the Company's product goal
  • Commit to meeting the needs and expectations of the restaurant's customers, minimizing customer complaints, and responding appropriately to customer needs
  • Follow all policies and procedures as outlined in our TM handbook, including image, attendance, safety, and security
  • Exemplify and exhibit the Core Values, maintain a positive attitude, work well with others, and be flexible and adaptable to change
  • Ensure adequate shift coverage for the restaurant, provide immediate feedback, and correct problems when identified
  • Maintain product quality, customer service, and performance responsibilities within acceptable standards, following all policies and procedures related to shift management
  • Contribute to profit goals by ensuring they stay within company guidelines and target goals, accurately utilizing the FOCUS System
  • Execute cash management duties and assist in the management of adequate inventory levels using the company's systems and guidelines to minimize loss
Requirements
  • High School diploma or GED preferred
  • Serv-Safe/Local or State Food Service Certification preferred
  • Previous restaurant shift lead experience preferred
  • Cash management, planning, and organization skills
  • Effective communication skills
