Night Auditor

We are seeking a highly skilled Night Auditor to join our team at Best Western Hotels & Resorts. As a Night Auditor, you will be responsible for ensuring the accuracy and integrity of our financial records, as well as providing exceptional customer service to our guests.

• Audit and balance various areas of the hotel, including food and beverage, rooms, front desk, and gift shop, to provide accurate and timely financial information.
• Oversee front office/front desk operations during the overnight shift, ensuring seamless service to our guests.
• Check front office accounting records for accuracy and compile information for the hotel's financial records.
• Track room revenues, occupancy percentages, and other front office operating statistics.
• Prepare summary of cash, check, and credit card activities, reflecting the hotel's financial performance for the day.
• Post room charges and room taxes to guest accounts, process guest charge vouchers and credit card vouchers, and verify all account postings and balances.
• Summarize results of operations and prepare reports for management.
• Perform duties of the Front Desk Agent, including handling guest requests and resolving issues.

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Accounting background preferred.
• Previous hotel experience desired.
• Strong customer service orientation and skills.
• Ability to operate front office equipment and computers.
• Ability to compile facts and figures and understand principles of auditing, balancing, and closing out accounts.
• Ability to work a flexible schedule, including weekends and holidays.
