Join Our Team as a Wellness Attendant

We are seeking a highly motivated and customer-focused individual to join our team as a Wellness Attendant at the YMCA of York and York County. As a Wellness Attendant, you will play a vital role in ensuring the safety and well-being of our members while providing exceptional customer service.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Ensure the cleanliness and maintenance of the Wellness Center, including equipment and surrounding areas.
  • Monitor the Wellness Center and enforce rules and regulations to ensure a safe and pleasant environment for members.
  • Develop relationships with staff, members, and community partners to advance the mission of the YMCA.
  • Provide exceptional customer service and respond to member inquiries and concerns.
  • Participate in ongoing training and professional development to enhance knowledge and skills.
Requirements:
  • High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
  • At least 16 years of age.
  • Obtain CPR/AED certification within 3 months of hire.
  • Ability to work well with people and maintain a positive attitude.
  • Knowledge of strength training and cardio equipment.
