We are seeking a skilled Nuclear Medicine Technologist to join our team at Saint Joseph Hospital. As a Nuclear Medicine Technologist, you will be responsible for performing a variety of Nuclear Medicine procedures utilizing multiple types of gamma cameras, utilizing proper injection techniques while injecting radioisotopes.

Responsibilities:

  • Perform IV puncture and administer radiopharmaceuticals via IV when indicated.
  • Prepare exam room, communicate with the patient, obtain informed consent when necessary, and request an accurate clinical history as necessary for the exam.
  • Receive patients, explain method of examination, and position patient.
  • Select appropriate imaging techniques and protocols to complete the exam.
  • Prepare and administer radiopharmaceuticals and other medications in accordance with state and federal regulations.

Requirements:

  • Associate Degree or equivalent from two-year College or Technical School; or a minimum of one (1) year minimum related experience and/or training, required.
  • Current ARRT (R) (NM) or NMTCB as CNMT registry, required.
  • Current BLS certification endorsed by the American Heart Association, required.
