Cleveland Clinic's Mercy Hospital is seeking a Registered Nurse (RN) Resident to join our Medical Telemetry Unit. As a RN Resident, you will work alongside a success coach to provide direct nursing care to a diverse population of patients. You will participate in a residency core curriculum based on individual learning needs and establish priorities for patient care. You will also respond to data indicating risk to patients' health and initiate action to correct, reduce or prevent risk.
Responsibilities- Provide direct nursing care alongside a success coach
- Establish and/or revise priorities for patient care
- Respond to data indicating risk to patients' health and initiate action to correct, reduce or prevent risk
- Document in patients' medical records
- Graduate from an accredited school of professional nursing
- Current state licensure as a Registered Nurse (RN)
- Basic Life Support (BLS) certification through the American Heart Association (AHA)
- New graduate RN or less than one year of RN work experience
- Bachelor of science in nursing (BSN)
