OBGYN, Maternal Fetal Medicine Clinic, Womens Health Research Center.

Under general supervision and in accordance with established policies and procedures, this role provides a range of specialized services to support the operational needs of the assigned clinic.

The responsibilities include checking in scheduled and walk-in patients, managing phone communications, and entering demographic and billing information into the system.

Additional duties involve checking patients out of the clinic and conducting necessary follow-ups. The role may also encompass clerical tasks related to the collection, deposit, and reconciliation of clinic revenue. Providing assistance and responding to patient inquiries at the Self Check-In Kiosk is expected based on clinic requirements. Exceptional customer service to patients, visitors, physicians, and staff is a fundamental aspect of this position.

Qualifications:

EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE:
A minimum of one (1) year of customer service experience is required. Coursework in Business Office Education or related fields is preferred.

Essential Skills:
(1) Completion of all required training assigned by management; (2) Basic understanding of medical terminology and advanced proficiency in PC applications, software, and database management; (3) Competence in math and bookkeeping; (4) Excellent telephone and customer service skills; (5) Strong knowledge of English grammar and punctuation. A High School Diploma or equivalent is preferred.
Skills in customer service, computer proficiency, multitasking, and adaptability to change are highly valued.

Ability to stand for extended periods while assisting at the Self Check-In Kiosks is necessary.
