Batching Operator

We are seeking a highly skilled and detail-oriented Batching Operator to join our team at Niagara Bottling. As a key member of our production team, you will be responsible for ensuring the highest quality and safety standards in our batching operations.
Key Responsibilities- Inspect, stage, weigh, and mix ingredients according to product recipes, collaborating with Quality Assurance Technicians as needed.
- Pre-weigh, blend, and liquefy components for beverage preparation, adhering to strict quality and safety protocols.
- Accurately document lot numbers, quantities, and expiration dates on formulas, ensuring compliance with customer regulations.
- Perform cleaning and sanitation of batching equipment and fillers, maintaining a clean and safe working environment.
- Operate forklifts to load/move ingredients, following all safety procedures and guidelines.
- Adhere to Niagara's Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP) and Food Safety Standards at all times, prioritizing safety and quality above all else.
- Maintain general housekeeping and quality in all areas of batching, production, and assigned areas, completing hourly inspection sheets accurately.
- Assist in other areas as required by plant leadership, demonstrating flexibility and a willingness to learn.
- Minimum 2 years of experience in a field or similar manufacturing environment.
- Ability to speak effectively with management and employees at all levels, possessing good verbal and written communication skills.
- Flexibility to work up to 12 hour shifts, day or night, and overtime as needed.
- Ability to stand or walk for extended periods in a manufacturing environment, regularly lifting and/or moving up to 50 pounds.
- Forklift experience is a plus, but not required.
- 4 years of experience in a field or similar manufacturing environment.
- Experience managing people/projects, with a proven track record of success.
