Construction Project Director

About the Role:
We are seeking an experienced Construction Project Director to join our team at Allied Staff Augmentation Partners. This is a unique opportunity for a skilled professional to lead construction projects and take their career to the next level.
Job Summary:
The Construction Project Director will be responsible for planning, organizing, and directing activities related to construction and maintenance of structures, facilities, and systems. This includes coordinating with supervisory personnel, owners, contractors, and design professionals to discuss and resolve matters such as work procedures, complaints, and construction problems.
Main Responsibilities:
- Project Planning and Execution: Develop and implement project delivery strategies, schedule projects in logical steps, and budget time required to meet deadlines.
- Contract Management: Coordinate project procurement, select contractors, and assist with contract paperwork and management of changes.
- Quality Control: Coordinate QA/QC quality control plans and ensure compliance with codes.
- Safety Management: Coordinate safety management plans to ensure a safe working environment.
- Reporting and Communication: Prepare daily/weekly/monthly progress reports, review contractor applications for payment, and recommend payment to clients.
- Closing Out Projects: Coordinate punch list preparation and project close-out.
Requirements:
To be successful in this role, you will need:
- A Bachelor's degree in Construction, Quantity Surveying or a related field, plus seven years relevant experience.
- Strong construction estimating skills, knowledge of construction and procurement strategies, and proficiency with project scheduling software.
- Ability to navigate Web-based construction management software.
- Thorough understanding and utilization of Information Technology in the performance of work.
- Building construction/state license, 30 hour training in OSHA safety requirements, CMAA/PMI certifications.

Compensation:
The estimated salary range for this role is $120,000 - $180,000 per year, depending on experience. We offer a competitive benefits package, including health insurance, retirement plan, and paid time off.
