Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Speech Language Pathologist to join our Special Education team. The successful candidate will be responsible for assessing, evaluating, and providing speech and language services to students with various communication needs.

Key Responsibilities
  • Participate in multidisciplinary evaluations and assessments of students, including the development of integrated goals and outcomes for IEPs/IFSPs
  • Educate parents and other stakeholders regarding the provision of services
  • Provide specialized instruction and implement a variety of service delivery models to meet student needs in the least restrictive environment
  • Consult with parents, other service providers, and community agencies to ensure effective provision of services
  • Collaborate with educational staff to develop and implement plans for student progress
Requirements
  • Current Speech Language Pathologist license issued by the Minnesota Department of Education
  • Master's Degree in Speech-Language Pathology
  • Experience working with students with various communication needs and due process procedures
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work with diverse populations
Working Conditions

The Speech Language Pathologist will work in a fast-paced educational environment, with frequent walking, standing, and sitting. The ability to adapt to changing circumstances and prioritize tasks is essential.
