Undergraduate Paralegal Internship

We are seeking an undergraduate student to contribute to the work of our Legal Department as a Paralegal Intern. The successful candidate will support the Paralegal/Intake Coordinator in developing and litigating impact cases to advance civil rights and liberties.
Key Responsibilities- Assist in the process of developing and litigating impact cases
- Participate in intakes to learn about clients' cases and help prepare legal documents for filing
- Support the Paralegal/Intake Coordinator in a fast-paced, collaborative environment
- Currently an undergraduate student receiving credit through an undergraduate program
- Excellent work ethic, including dependability, diligence, and commitment to seeing projects through to completion
- Receptive to feedback, enthusiastic about learning and self-improvement, and eager to incorporate feedback into future work
- Empathy and interpersonal skills necessary to connect with, listen to, learn from, and ask questions of clients and other community members
- High ethical standards, including the ability to maintain strict confidentiality of client information
