Key Responsibilities:- Train Speech Synthesis Mel spectrogram and vocoder models to improve speech quality.
- Measure and benchmark model performance using various metrics.
- Maintain a robust TTS model evaluation system to ensure accurate assessments.
- Analyze model accuracy and bias, recommending improvements to enhance overall performance.
- Streamline processes for speech data processing, augmentation, filtering, and TTS training set preparation.
- Gather knowledge on TTS datasets for training and evaluation purposes.
- Characterize performance and quality metrics across platforms for various speech AI components.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to develop new product features and improve existing ones.
- Mastery's degree (or equivalent experience) in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, Artificial Intelligence, Applied Math, Linguistics, or Computational Linguistics.
- At least 5 years of relevant experience in speech technologies, deep learning, and software design.
- Excellent programming skills in Python, with strong fundamentals in optimizations and software design.
- Proficiency in ML/DL techniques, algorithms, and tools, including CNN, RNN (LSTM), and Transformers.
- Hands-on experience with Speech Technologies like Speech Synthesis, voice cloning, etc.
- Familiarity with PyTorch deep learning frameworks and basic speech digital signal processing techniques.
- Native or near-native fluency in a non-English language (Spanish, Mandarin, German, Japanese, Russian, French, UK English, Arabic, Hindi, Korean, Italian, Portuguese).
- Experience developing multilingual code-switched TTS, voice cloning, and cross-lingual voice cloning.
- Familiarity with GPU-based technologies like CUDA, CuDNN, and TensorRT.
The estimated base salary for this position is $218,125 per year, based on location, experience, and market standards. You will also be eligible for equity and benefits packages.
