Movement Innovation Collaborative Strategy Director

The Movement Innovation Collaborative is seeking a highly skilled and experienced individual to fill the position of MS&I Program Strategy Director.
This role is a key part of the organization's efforts to promote movement strategy and innovation. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of community organizing, program development, and coalition building. They will also possess expertise in innovation and experimentation processes, as well as leadership abilities that can drive strategic growth and change.
The MS&I Program Strategy Director will be responsible for leading the MS&I program and ensuring that it aligns with the organization's overall strategy and mission. This includes developing and implementing strategies for building movement infrastructure, convening stakeholders, and cultivating networks to drive innovation and growth.
The successful candidate will have a track record of success in organizational leadership, with experience in developing and implementing strategies that drive measurable outcomes. They will also possess excellent written and verbal communication skills, as well as the ability to facilitate and train groups to achieve common goals.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and implement strategies for building movement infrastructure and convening stakeholders to drive innovation and growth
- Cultivate networks and relationships with practitioners, subject-matter experts, researchers, and capacity builders to inform the MS&I program
- Collaborate with other MIC leadership to ensure alignment and cross-fertilization across all program strategies
- Oversee knowledge capture and dissemination related to the MS&I program and inform MIC's approach to learning and strategy development
Requirements:
- A strong alignment with the Movement Innovation Collaborative's mission, values, and culture
- Demonstrated success in leveraging lived experience to drive meaningful results and change
- Experience in community organizing and program development, with a focus on coalition and base-building
- Expertise in innovation and experimentation processes, with a track record of driving strategic growth and change
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to facilitate and train groups to achieve common goals
- Strong leadership abilities, with the ability to drive strategic growth and change
What We Offer:
The Movement Innovation Collaborative offers a competitive salary range of $160,000 to $180,000, as well as a comprehensive benefits package that includes medical insurance, dental and vision insurance, life and AD&D insurance, short-term and long-term disability plans, and an Employee Assistance Program. We also offer a generous paid family leave policy and a retirement plan with an employer match of 5% after one year of employment.
