At Delta Solutions & Strategies, we're seeking a highly skilled Sr. Communications Specialist to support the United States Space Force (USSF), Space Systems Command (SSC) Command Staff Support contract.

This is an exciting opportunity for a communications expert to leverage their expertise in Congressional analysis and synthesis, annual congressional cycle processes, and events in the Air Force/Space Force Task/Response Timeline to provide valuable insights to our customers.

We're looking for someone with strong analytical skills, who can apply critical thinking to translate technical content into compelling communication products that meet the needs of our customers.

A successful candidate will have a deep understanding of space acquisition processes, Congress, and other relevant government organizations that impact acquisition program offices.

The ideal candidate will also have excellent writing, verbal, and interpersonal communication skills, with the ability to work closely with teammates and customers across internal and external organizations.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Apply critical thinking and analysis to provide expert Congressional analysis and synthesis
  • Conduct research and assist with preparation and review of responses to Requests for Information (RFIs) and Questions for the Record (QFRs)
  • Assist with planning, coordinating, and preparing logistics for Staffer/Congressional Delegation and committee visits
  • Brief the SSC PEOs, SSC/CC, and/or next-level SSC Leadership on congressional players, climate, and upcoming electoral issues

Requirements:

  • Top Secret / SCI security clearance required
  • MA / MS degree in Communications, Marketing, Public Policy, Literature, History, Business, Economics or STEM related disciplines
  • Ten (10) years demonstrated experience in related field
  • Strong analytical and strategic thinking skills

Benefits:
