As a Retail Sales Representative at AZEK Company Inc., you will play a crucial role in supporting the sale of our innovative building products with retail home centers. Your primary responsibility will be to develop relationships with retail staff, conduct product knowledge training, and provide sales assistance to the ProDesk. You will also be responsible for contractor engagement in our loyalty program and reporting to a Regional Sales Manager.
Key Responsibilities:- Establish and maintain relationships with retail District Managers, Store Managers, and Pro Sales Reps to drive sales growth and profitability.
- Effectively communicate with and educate Distributor Outside Sales representatives, TimberTech representatives, and retail associates on our brand to increase sales.
- Develop and execute strategies to grow the retail channel within your territory and increase special-order sales.
- Act as a liaison for sales and service issues within your assigned territory.
- Perform onsite product demonstrations and visits with customers to verify satisfaction, solidify renewals, and drive up-sell opportunities.
- Contribute to the development of the annual sales plan in support of organizational strategy and objectives.
- Bachelor's Degree in Business Administration or related field, or equivalent work experience.
- One to three years of experience in an outside sales position, with direct experience with retail home centers preferred.
- Strong interpersonal skills, with the ability to communicate effectively with internal and external audiences.
- Demonstrated organization and time management skills, with a high energy level and ability to respond to shifting priorities.
- Strong computer skills, including Microsoft Office and Outlook.
- Interest in up to 60% overnight travel.
- Identify and visit top 20 stores and top 20 growth potential stores within 90 days.
- Complete product training on all three product lines and ride alongs with Retail Reps and Distributor Reps within 90 days.
- Exceed sales incentive plan goal for special-order and stock sales, meet all MBO requirements, and add one stocking store within one year.
