Job Summary

Baylor Scott & White Health is seeking a highly skilled Registered Nurse (RN) to join our Intensive Care Unit (ICU) team at our Round Rock Medical Center location. As a Registered Nurse (RN) in our ICU, you will play a vital role in providing exceptional patient care and contributing to a positive and supportive work environment.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide direct patient care to critically ill patients in the ICU, including assessment, planning, implementation, and evaluation of care.
  • Collaborate with the interdisciplinary team to develop and implement individualized patient care plans.
  • Monitor and manage patient vital signs, medication administration, and other medical interventions as needed.
  • Communicate effectively with patients, families, and healthcare team members to ensure seamless care coordination.
  • Participate in quality improvement initiatives and contribute to a culture of safety and excellence.
Requirements
  • Graduate of an accredited nursing program.
  • Minimum one year of ICU Registered Nurse (RN) experience, two years preferred.
  • Current RN licensure in the state of Texas.
  • BLS certification required within 30 days of hire.
