The residential area managers in our facility play a vital role in ensuring the well-being and care of our residents. Their primary responsibilities include:

Key Responsibilities
  • Organizing Care and Support: Our residential area managers are responsible for coordinating the care and support of residents, ensuring that their needs are met and their quality of life is maintained.
  • Care Documentation Management: They are responsible for managing and monitoring care documentation, ensuring that all necessary records are up-to-date and accurate.
  • Care and Support Monitoring: Our residential area managers are responsible for monitoring and ensuring that proper care and support are provided to residents, including conducting regular staff meetings and accompanying care visits by the nursing director or deputy nursing director.
  • Staff Meetings and Training: They participate in regular management meetings and quality circles, as well as attend regular training sessions to stay up-to-date with the latest care methods and systems.
  • Improvement Suggestions: Our residential area managers are encouraged to contribute improvement suggestions to the nursing management, helping to drive innovation and excellence in care.
  • Resident Engagement: They maintain regular contact with all residents in the residential area, organizing their participation in events and activities that promote socialization and well-being.
  • Family and Caregiver Support: Our residential area managers maintain contact with family members, caregivers, and other individuals close to the residents, providing support and guidance as needed.
  • Collaboration with Other Services: They collaborate with other services in the facility, including social support, housekeeping, kitchen, and administration, to ensure a seamless and comprehensive care experience.
  • MDK Assessments and Inspections: Our residential area managers accompany representatives from the Medical Service of the Health Insurance (MDK) during assessments and inspections, ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements.
  • New Admissions: They participate in new admissions, ensuring a smooth transition for residents and their families.
  • Complaint Resolution: Our residential area managers address complaints in a timely and professional manner, ensuring that resident concerns are heard and addressed.
  • Staff Scheduling: They plan and coordinate staff schedules, ensuring that the right staff are in the right place at the right time.
  • Duty and Vacation Scheduling: Our residential area managers create duty and vacation schedules, ensuring that staff have adequate time off and that coverage is maintained.
  • Working Hours Compliance: They monitor compliance with working hours, ensuring that staff are working within established guidelines.
  • Employee Guidance and Training: Our residential area managers provide guidance and training to new employees, ensuring that they have the skills and knowledge needed to provide high-quality care.
  • Apprentice and Intern Supervision: They supervise and utilize apprentices and interns, providing mentorship and support to help them develop their skills.
  • Hygiene and Safety Regulations: Our residential area managers ensure compliance with hygiene and safety regulations, maintaining a safe and healthy environment for residents and staff.
