Job Title: Respiratory Therapist Supervisor

We are seeking a highly skilled Respiratory Therapist Supervisor to join our team at MultiCare Health System. As a Respiratory Therapist Supervisor, you will be responsible for coordinating and supervising the work of assigned professional staff engaged in respiratory care activities.

This is a working supervisor position that requires specialized training and experience to perform independent, professional respiratory care, ventilator management, diagnostic and therapeutic procedures, and clinical evaluation of care.

Responsibilities:
  • Coordinate and supervise the work of assigned professional staff engaged in respiratory care activities
  • Provide respiratory therapy to inpatients and/or outpatients of MultiCare
  • Operate independently, under limited supervision, providing direction and guidance to assigned Respiratory Therapists
  • Review care based on the age and needs of the patient
Requirements:
  • Associate's degree or 2 years additional experience in lieu of degree will be considered
  • Bachelor's degree preferred
  • Graduate of AMA approved Respiratory Therapy training program
  • Registered (RRT) by the National Board of Respiratory Care
  • 2 years of experience in professional or technical role/function
  • Licensed as Respiratory Care Practitioner with the State of Washington
  • Previous experience and demonstrated skills in a leadership or a supervisory role
  • Current CPR certification required and advanced life support credential required within days of hire depending on specific position and course availability (NRP, PALS or ACLS)

The pay scale is $86, $125,091.00 USD. However, pay is influenced by factors specific to applicants, including but not limited to: skill set, level of experience, and certification(s) and/or education. If this position is associated with a union contract, pay will be reflective of the appropriate step on the pay scale to which the applicant's years of experience align.
