We are seeking a highly skilled Respiratory Therapist Supervisor to join our team at MultiCare Health System in Tacoma, Washington.

Job Summary

The Respiratory Therapist Supervisor will be responsible for overseeing the work of assigned professional staff engaged in respiratory care activities. This role will also provide respiratory therapy to inpatients and/or outpatients of MultiCare, operating independently under limited supervision.

Key Responsibilities
  • Coordinate and supervise respiratory care activities to ensure high-quality patient care.
  • Provide respiratory therapy to patients, including inpatients and outpatients, and develop treatment plans to meet their needs.
  • Direct and guide assigned Respiratory Therapists to ensure they have the necessary skills and knowledge to provide excellent patient care.
  • Review patient care based on individual needs and age, and establish therapy and treatment objectives to achieve optimal outcomes.
Requirements
  • Associate's degree or 2 years of additional experience in lieu of degree.
  • Bachelor's degree preferred.
  • Graduate of an AMA-approved Respiratory Therapy training program.
  • Registered (RRT) by the National Board of Respiratory Care.
  • 2 years of experience in a professional or technical role/function.
  • Licensed as a Respiratory Care Practitioner with the State of Washington.
  • Previous experience and demonstrated skills in a leadership or supervisory role.
