Job Details

We are seeking a highly motivated and results-driven Staff Internal Auditor to join our team in The Woodlands, TX. As a Staff Internal Auditor, you will play a critical role in ensuring the integrity of our financial reporting and compliance with regulatory requirements.

Responsibilities

  • Plan and perform internal audits to evaluate the effectiveness of our internal controls and financial reporting processes.
  • Evaluate the design and implementation of our internal controls, including financial, operational, and compliance reviews.
  • Communicate audit results and issue reports to management and auditees, and follow up on action plans and remediation testing.
  • Execute other assignments and consulting projects requested by management, and assist with special investigations as needed.
  • Gather and analyze large amounts of data in various company settings, and develop positive relationships with staff, management, and external auditors.
  • Participate in organizational and departmental initiatives to drive business growth and improvement.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance.
  • Good understanding of Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP) and internal controls.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Able to travel up to 35% of the time.
  • Strong written and communication skills.
