Sodexo is seeking a highly skilled Registered Dietitian 2 to join our team at Creighton University in Omaha, Nebraska. As a key member of our nutrition and wellness team, you will be responsible for developing and implementing nutrition education programs, promoting healthy eating habits, and collaborating with operations teams to create wellness programs and menus.
Key Responsibilities- Nutrition Education and Promotion: Design and deliver educational events, create regular communications, and provide guidance on healthy eating habits to students with dietary restrictions.
- Program Development and Implementation: Collaborate with operations teams to develop wellness programs and menus for resident dining, athletics, and retail locations.
- Public Speaking and Presentation: Deliver presentations to support client goals and promote nutritional awareness through newsletters, social media, sampling, and events.
- Team Collaboration: Work closely with operations teams to develop and implement nutrition and wellness programs that meet the needs of the diverse student population.
- Education: Master's degree with completion of required coursework and supervised practice as dictated by the Accreditation Council for Education in Nutrition and Dietetics (ACEND).
- Credentials: Meets eligibility requirements for Registered Dietitian Nutritionist (RD/RDN) by the Commission on Dietetic Registration (CDR) and will become registered within 120 days of hire.
- Experience: 1 year work experience in health care, including hospitals, nursing homes, assisted or independent living facilities, long-term care, retirement homes, or clinics, plus registered dietitian experience.
