We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Registered Nurse I to join our team at the Vermont Psychiatric Care Hospital in Berlin. This is an excellent opportunity for new or soon-to-be Registered Nurses who wish to specialize in behavioral health.

As a Registered Nurse, you will be responsible for assessing, evaluating, and coordinating care and services for individuals experiencing psychiatric illnesses. You will work with individuals who have various physical, emotional, mental, and/or psychiatric disabilities. Your duties will include developing individualized nursing care plans, administering prescribed treatments and medications, and collaborating with community health services and families.

The starting rate for this position may be negotiable based on experience and qualifications. Additionally, this role is eligible for full retirement after 20 years of service in eligible positions, recognizing the challenges faced by front-line mental health workers.
