Key Responsibilities:
- Supervise daily operations of the Supported Living Program, ensuring quality care for individuals with Intellectual/Developmental Disabilities (IDD).
- Provide hands-on training and mentorship to Direct Support Professionals, fostering a collaborative and supportive work environment.
- Evaluate and update individualized support plans in conjunction with Direct Support Professionals, ensuring alignment with client needs and goals.
- Implement and monitor Behavior Treatment Plans, focusing on positive behavior reinforcement strategies.
- Oversee medication management and ensure compliance with established protocols.
- Maintain accurate documentation of client files and ensure adherence to contractual obligations.
- Facilitate training sessions for staff on personal care techniques and support strategies.
- Promote a culture of health and safety within the team, ensuring confidentiality and security of client information.
- Engage with community resources to enhance support services and opportunities for clients.
Qualifications:
- Minimum age of 21 years.
- At least one year of supervisory experience preferred.
- Experience working with individuals with Intellectual/Developmental Disabilities is highly desirable.
- Valid Arizona Driver's license and insurability under agency policy required.
- Ability to work flexible hours, including evenings and weekends.
- Current Level One Clearance Card, CPR, First Aid, and Article IX certifications are necessary.
- Successful completion of a criminal background check and Child Protective Services registry check is mandatory.
Physical and Psychological Requirements:
- Ability to perform physical tasks, including lifting and transferring individuals.
- Capacity to manage stress and remain calm in challenging situations.
- Flexibility to adapt to changing priorities and demands throughout the workday.
This position is classified as Hybrid, requiring both in-person engagement with clients and administrative responsibilities that may be completed remotely.
