Chesterbrook Academy is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Preschool Cook and Classroom Support Specialist to join our team. As a key member of our culinary team, you will be responsible for preparing healthy and nutritious meals for our students, while also providing support to our classroom teachers and staff.
Responsibilities
- Prepare and serve healthy and nutritious meals to students and staff
- Assist classroom teachers and staff with daily tasks and activities
- Maintain a clean and safe kitchen environment
- Order and manage kitchen supplies and inventory
- Collaborate with the culinary team to plan and implement special events and menus
Requirements
- 2+ years of experience in a large group setting with thorough knowledge of kitchen equipment operations
- Experience working with children and families
- Food Management Certification
- Ability to lift, carry, and move heavy objects
- Excellent communication and teamwork skills
