Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled and detail-oriented Staff Accountant to join our team. As an integral member of our accounting department, the successful candidate will be responsible for handling various accounting tasks, ensuring the smooth operation of our remote workforce, and contributing to our company's success.

Key Responsibilities
  • Financial Operations
    • Assist with accounts payable and receivable processes, including invoice processing, payment collection, and vendor management.
    • Assist in month-end close activities, ensuring accurate and timely financial reporting.
    • Assist in budget/forecasting preparation and monitoring, providing financial insights to support business decisions.
    • Reconcile bank statements, ensuring accuracy and completeness of financial records.
  • Office Management/Executive Support
    • Organize and facilitate virtual meetings, including setting up video conferencing, screen sharing, and distributing relevant materials.
    • Assist with document preparation and formatting, including emails, reports, presentations, and other materials for executive review.
    • Maintain the electronic filing system, ensuring accurate and up-to-date records of documents, files, and confidential information.
Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree in accounting, finance, or business.
  • 1-2 years' experience in the accounting field, with a strong understanding of financial principles and practices.
  • Strong attention to detail and accuracy of data, with excellent organizational and time management skills.
  • Proficiency in QuickBooks and Microsoft Office suite, particularly Excel and Teams.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to multitask and prioritize tasks effectively.
  • A HIPAA-compliant work-from-home office in the Tampa area.
