Job Title: Public Health Exercise Evaluator

We are seeking a highly skilled Public Health Exercise Evaluator to join our team at DecisionPoint Corporation. As a key member of our Evaluation Team, you will play a critical role in ensuring the success of our exercise evaluation cycle.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Develop and implement data collection tools and analysis plans to identify strengths and areas for improvement.
  • Provide technical support to the Evaluation Lead in finalizing the exercise Evaluation Plan and specific evaluation strategies.
  • Assist in the refinement of evaluation criteria, Master Scenario Events List (MSEL) development, and coordination of exercise evaluation documents.
  • Train SME evaluators prior to exercise on evaluation documentation, exercise rhythm, and daily reports.
  • Provide guidance to SME evaluators during exercise, collect observations daily, and conduct post-exercise Hotwashes for component areas.
  • Consolidate all evaluation/observation inputs for the development of the initial After Action Report/Improvement Plan.
Requirements:
  • A minimum of 1-2 years of relevant experience.
  • Extensive expertise in designing, developing, and implementing quantitative and qualitative data collection tools.
  • Proficiency in qualitative analysis software (e.g., NVivo, MAXQDA, or similar) and quantitative data management and analysis software (e.g., R, SAS, or STATA).
  • Ability to quickly adjust to changes in data collection and reporting priorities.
  • Strong organizational and project management skills, as well as strong oral and written communication skills.
