San Francisco Shift Leader

We're seeking a skilled Shift Leader to join our team at sweetgreen. As a Shift Leader, you will play a key role in driving our mission to build healthier communities by connecting people to real food.
Key Responsibilities- Create a positive work environment that aligns with our mission, vision, and values.
- Deliver exceptional customer experiences and ensure team and guest safety.
- Assist with new team member training and provide feedback where needed.
- Follow all food safety practices and restaurant cleanliness expectations.
- Ability to use electronic systems and manual ability to operate cutting tools and kitchen utensils.
- Have schedule flexibility to include availability for opening shifts, closing shifts, and weekends.
- Physically able to lift up to 25 pounds and stand for long periods of time.
- 1+ years experience in a Shift Leader/Supervisor role.
- Experience in a restaurant, retail, or hospitality role (preferred).
- Ability to coordinate multiple tasks while maintaining required standards of operation in daily restaurant activities.
- Ability to speak, write, read, and understand the primary language(s) of the work location.
