Contract Duration: 5-month contract with potential for hire

Pay Rate: $30 - $38 per hour

Work Location: Richmond, VA (within a 1-hour radius)

Travel Requirements: Possible overnight travel

Essential Qualifications:

  • High School Diploma or equivalent vocational training
  • Minimum of two years' experience with commercial intrusion systems, fire alarm systems, CCTV, intercoms, and access control systems
  • Thorough understanding of local and national codes
  • Valid driver's license and ability to pass a drug screening

Certifications:

  • Must acquire and maintain any necessary product certifications and/or licenses as mandated by local, state, and national regulations

Insight Global's client, a prominent security solutions provider, is looking for a Fire and Security Installation Technician. The primary responsibilities include the installation and enhancement of MDF and IDF systems across various retail locations. The role requires minimal supervision and may involve mentoring junior installers and trainees.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Installation of commercial alarm systems, fire safety systems, CCTV, and card access systems
  • Ability to mentor, coach, and instruct others
  • Deliver high-quality customer service
  • Provide training on system operation and functionality to clients
  • Conduct system testing and signal verification
