We are seeking a highly skilled and compassionate Dialysis Technician to join our team at Fresenius Medical Center. As a Dialysis Technician, you will play a critical role in providing safe and effective dialysis therapy to patients under the direct supervision of a licensed nurse.
Key Responsibilities- Assist patients with dialysis treatment, including setting up and operating hemodialysis machines
- Monitor patients' vital signs and report any changes or concerns to the registered nurse or supervisor
- Conduct machine safety checks and report any issues to the registered nurse or supervisor
- Assist with patient education and training on dialysis procedures and equipment
- Collaborate with the healthcare team to ensure seamless patient care
- High school diploma or GED required
- Must meet Center for Medicaid/Medicare Services (CMS)-approved state and/or national certification requirements within the required state or CMS timeline
- Previous patient care experience in a hospital setting or related facility preferred
