Job Summary

SnowCloud Services is seeking a highly skilled System Administrator to join our team. As a key member of our IT department, you will be responsible for managing and maintaining our client IT environments, including MS Exchange, file/print, Office 365, and virtual servers.

Key Responsibilities
  • IT Environment Management: Manage and maintain client IT environments, including MS Exchange, file/print, Office 365, and virtual servers.
  • Server Administration: Manage Microsoft Windows servers and VM (Hyper-V) environments, including installation, configuration, maintenance, and troubleshooting.
  • Application Server Management: Install, configure, maintain, and troubleshoot moderately complex application server hardware, software, and peripheral devices.
  • Cloud Administration: Knowledge of Azure and Office 365 administration, including deployment, configuration, and maintenance.
  • Linux Administration: Knowledge of Linux operating systems and their administration.
  • Network Security: Proficient understanding of technology areas such as Active Directory, DHCP, DNS, Group Policy, and DFS, with a focus on securing systems to maintain compliance with cybersecurity policies.
  • System Support: Provide in-depth technical expertise for the installation, configuration, and operation of the Windows server environment, including experience with MS Exchange and VPN troubleshooting.
  • Patch Management: Manage Microsoft patch deployments and recommend, schedule, and perform network improvements, upgrades, and repairs.
  • Backup and Recovery: Perform system backups and recovery, and resolve escalated Help Desk issues.
  • Policies and Procedures: Develop, implement, and maintain policies, procedures, and associated training plans for network resource administration, appropriate use, and disaster recovery.

Requirements

  • Strong Technical Skills: Proficient in Microsoft Windows, Linux, and cloud computing platforms, including Azure and Office 365.
  • Excellent Communication Skills: Ability to communicate technical information effectively to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
  • Problem-Solving Skills: Ability to analyze complex technical issues and develop effective solutions.
  • Collaboration: Ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams to achieve business objectives.
