Overview

We are seeking a skilled and experienced Acute Rehabilitation Manager to oversee clinical and administrative functions within our Rehabilitation Services department.

Salary Range

The estimated salary for this role is between $44.31 and $77.57 per hour, commensurate with equity and experience for roles of similar scope and responsibility.

Job Description

This role involves managing staffing, establishing and upholding policies and professional standards, and ensuring compliance with state and federal regulations. The successful candidate will operationalize the goals and objectives of Johns Hopkins Bayview Medical Center (JHBMC), fostering consistency in patient care through standardized evaluation, testing, and treatment procedures.

Main Responsibilities:
  • Develop and implement policies and objectives to ensure best practices in patient care.
  • Conduct hiring, onboarding, performance evaluation, and staff management, including disciplinary actions as necessary.
  • Coordinate volunteer services with the Director of Volunteer Services.
  • Manage functional area budgets, adhering to financial reporting requirements.
  • Maintain supply levels and oversee orders in collaboration with Central Purchasing.
Required Skills and Qualifications

To be considered for this role, applicants must have a Bachelor's degree in a relevant healthcare discipline and at least 5 years of clinical experience, with at least 3 years in a management or leadership role. Current Maryland licensure in Physical, Occupational, or Speech Language Pathology or certification in a Rehabilitation Health-related field is also required.
