Job Title: Senior Water Resources Project Engineer

We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Water Resources Project Engineer to join our Water group at Colliers Engineering & Design. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for leading and mentoring junior staff, developing work scopes, and managing the hydrologic and hydraulic design aspects of projects.

Responsibilities:
  • Lead and mentor junior staff to further develop their understanding of water resources engineering analyses, design, and construction.
  • Develop work scopes, technical proposals, and manage the hydrologic and hydraulic design aspects of projects.
  • Conduct safety and condition inspection surveys for condition evaluation or in support of design efforts.
  • Evaluate, select, and apply standard engineering techniques and procedures.
  • Help to prepare construction documents (plans and specifications).
Qualifications:
  • BS Degree in Civil Engineering or related field of practice required.
  • MS Degree in Civil Engineering preferred.
  • PE license in the state where office is located, or ability to obtain.
  • 7 or more years of experience in water resources engineering.
  • Ability to become licensed in other states where work is located.
  • Keen interest and passion in application of hydrology and hydraulics to the field of water resources engineering.
  • Strong Microsoft Office skills.
  • Strong written and oral communication skills.
  • Attention to detail.
  • Desire to work collaboratively in a team environment.
