Job Summary

We are seeking an experienced Executive Sous Chef to join our team at Levy. As a key member of our culinary operations team, you will be responsible for executing high-quality cuisine, leading a team of chefs, and ensuring exceptional guest experiences.

Key Responsibilities
  • Culinary Operations
    • Execute menus in accordance with brand standards and quality guidelines
    • Ensure that all food safety and sanitation standards are met
    • Conduct daily walk-throughs to ensure show-quality food and presentations
  • Team Leadership
    • Lead and develop a team of chefs to achieve operational goals
    • Conduct regular meetings to ensure open communication and feedback
    • Mentor Sous Chefs to improve their skills and leadership abilities
  • Business Operations
    • Manage inventory and equipment to achieve cost goals
    • Forecast and schedule team members to meet operational needs
    • Ensure that all security, safety, and sanitation standards are achieved
  • Guest Experience
    • Ensure that team members consistently deliver exceptional guest service
    • Respond to guest service issues and resolve them promptly
Requirements
  • Five (5) + years of culinary experience
  • High volume, complex foodservice operations experience
  • Creative problem-solver with passion, enthusiasm, and fresh ideas
  • Proven track record of being organized, dependable, and self-motivated
  • Team builder and ability to successfully manage and develop a team
  • Able to work independently and have the capacity to manage up and down
  • Ability to work 60 + hours per week and extended hours (as needed)
  • Willingness to work a flexible schedule, including days, evenings, weekends, and holidays
  • Must be experienced with computers; to include Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, and PowerPoint), Outlook, and the Internet
