Job Title: Server-Main+Abbey Part TimeJob Summary:

The Server-Main+Abbey Part Time position is responsible for providing exceptional customer service and ensuring a memorable dining experience for guests at the Hard Rock Hotel and Casino Sioux City.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Recognize and greet guests promptly, informing them of daily specials and menus.
  • Assist guests with food and beverage orders, demonstrating thorough knowledge of menu items and products.
  • Notify the Chef of any food preparation issues and ensure quality control.
  • Anticipate and meet guest needs, ensuring a high level of satisfaction.
  • Maintain a clean and organized appearance, adhering to sanitation and safety standards.
  • Manage cash and equipment effectively, maintaining a secure and efficient work environment.
  • Review and comprehend all necessary documentation and perform side work duties as assigned.
Working Conditions and Essential Functions:
  • Ability to transport trays and plates, serve food and beverages, and stand for extended periods.
  • Effective communication and interpersonal skills, including the ability to take orders, recite specials, and point out menu items.
  • Ability to distinguish between different denominations of currency and make change.
  • Retrieve supplies and maintain a clean working area, effectively moving throughout the restaurant and kitchen.
  • Work in a fast-paced environment with varying levels of smoke, crowds, and noise.
Job Qualifications:

Must be 18 years of age and have familiarity with food, beverage, and wine service. Knowledge of table service procedures and etiquette is also required.

Regulatory and Compliance Responsibilities:
  • Attend required training sessions and perform duties in compliance with local laws and regulations.
  • Ensure minors are not allowed to gamble or loiter in gambling areas, drink alcoholic beverages, or purchase tobacco.
  • Have knowledge of ordinances, regulations, laws, policies, and procedures relating to the team member's department.
  • Report illegal activity to Security or Management.
