Job Summary

The Suite Server is a part-time position responsible for serving guests in the Suites and the Premier Club. This role requires excellent communication skills, the ability to work in a fast-paced environment, and a strong attention to detail.

Key Responsibilities

  • Assist in the setup of food service areas within specific suites and club areas based on pre-orders.
  • Ensure all assigned suites are set prior to events based on communication received of orders.
  • Organize and prepare events in assigned locations.
  • Assist in closing out financials per event and ensure correct billing takes place.
  • Monitor and maintain food quality.
  • Follow all company policies and procedures, upholding safety and sanitation standards, and ensuring a positive atmosphere for team members and guests.
  • Monitor and enforce safe alcohol policies and procedures.
  • Monitor and maintain inventory control and product requisition fulfilling.
  • Have full knowledge of food and beverage menu items and accompaniments.
  • Responsible for supervising the service of beverages to guests, including alcoholic beverages, and checking guest's ID to verify minimum age requirement.
  • Respond to any additional requests from guests.
  • Ensure suites have all necessary serving ware.
  • Maintain sanitation, health, and safety standards in work areas.
  • Meet the company standard for excellent attendance.
  • Ensure location equipment is operable and clean prior to the start of events.
  • Recognize guests who are visibly intoxicated and take action to cut off alcohol to such individuals.

Requirements

  • Ability to communicate effectively with employees, co-workers, volunteers, management staff, and guests.
  • Ability to speak, read, and write in English.
  • Ability to work well in a team-oriented, fast-paced, event-driven environment.
  • Possess a valid food handling certificate or alcohol service permit if required by state or federal regulations.
  • Ability to calculate basic math functions as they relate to POS cash/credit transactions, cash reconciliation, and product inventory.

Education, Qualifications, and Experience

  • At least 1-2 years' experience working in a food and beverage or customer service role.
