About the Job

This full-time position offers a competitive salary of $145,000 per year and a comprehensive benefits package, including paid time off, annual stipend for CME, and malpractice insurance coverage.

Responsibilities:

  • Assess patient needs and develop treatment plans in collaboration with physicians and other healthcare professionals.
  • Conduct diagnostic tests and procedures, such as ECGs and echocardiograms.
  • Prescribe medications and order laboratory tests as needed.
  • Provide education and support to patients and their families regarding cardiac health and disease management.
  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date patient records.

Requirements:

  • Current licensure through the Louisiana State Board of Nursing or licensed Physician Assistant by the Louisiana State Medical Board or the ability to obtain prior to employment.
  • Valid DEA license or the ability to obtain one prior to employment.
  • BLS obtained by the American Heart Association.
