Respiratory Care Specialist

We are seeking a skilled Respiratory Care Specialist to join our team at VieMed. As a key member of our respiratory therapy program, you will be responsible for the overall clinical, technical, and administrative functions related to our PAP Therapy program.
Main Responsibilities:- Equipment Installation and Maintenance: You will be responsible for the installation, setup, and maintenance of respiratory therapy equipment, including CPAP, AutoPAP, and BiPAP devices.
- Patient Assessment and Education: You will assess patients' needs and provide education on the clinical benefits of PAP therapy and the dangers of sleep apnea.
- Clinical Communication: You will maintain effective communication with physicians, healthcare practitioners, and other stakeholders involved in patient care.
- Record-Keeping and Documentation: You will maintain accurate records, charting, progress notes, and clinical files, as well as ensure the upkeep of equipment records and preventative maintenance records.
- RT License: A valid Respiratory Therapist license is mandatory for this role.
- High-Speed Internet: A stable high-speed internet connection is required for remote work.
This role involves working in a clinical setting, where you will be required to set up and service medical devices during normal business hours (Monday to Friday, 8:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m.).
