About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Business Development Engineer to join our team at U.S. Pipe. As a key member of our sales team, you will be responsible for promoting our products and services to municipalities and water authorities across the United States and globally.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Develop and execute sales strategies to increase revenue from municipal markets.
  • Collaborate with sales staff to promote products and services to existing and potential customers.
  • Analyze customer needs and provide solutions that meet their requirements.
  • Work closely with engineering teams to develop product specifications and applications.
  • Consult with customers on proper application, assembly, and installation of our products.
Requirements:
  • Bachelor's degree in Engineering (Civil/Mechanical preferred).
  • Experience in waterworks or public utilities industry.
  • Strong problem-solving skills and ability to communicate effectively with customers.
  • Knowledge of construction equipment and practices.
  • Able to work in a fast-paced environment and travel extensively (25-50% of the time).
