Job Summary:

We are seeking an experienced Interior Design Educator to join our faculty team. The successful candidate will be responsible for teaching undergraduate students in our online Bachelor of Design: Interior Design program, which launches in Fall 2024.

About the Position:

This is a part-time, adjunct faculty position that requires the educator to teach one class session per week for 8-week terms. The successful candidate will also collaborate with program leadership and other faculty members to develop curriculum and assess student progress.

Responsibilities:

  • Teach one class session per week for 8-week terms
  • Collaborate with program leadership and other faculty members
  • Hold office hours once a week for the duration of the class
  • Develop and implement curriculum aligned with program learning objectives
  • Evaluate and provide feedback on student work

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in interior design, art and design, interior architecture or another related field
  • 5 years of related professional experience
  • Experience with teaching at a college level

Salary and Benefits:

The estimated salary for this position is $60,000 - $80,000 per year, depending on qualifications and experience. We also offer a competitive benefits package, including health insurance, retirement plan, and paid time off.
