About the Role

PagerDuty is seeking a seasoned Commercial Sales Manager to lead our EMEA Commercial Sales team. As a key member of our sales organization, you will be responsible for driving revenue growth, expanding our customer base, and developing a high-performing sales team.

Key Responsibilities
  • Leadership and Mentorship:
    • Provide guidance and mentorship to the Commercial Sales team, empowering them to proactively identify, qualify, and build a robust sales pipeline.
    • Coach the team to effectively close new business deals and navigate complex negotiations and organizational structures.
    • Lead the onboarding and ramp process for new Account Executives, accelerating their productivity and capacity.
  • Strategic Execution:
    • Develop and execute a growth strategy for our Commercial business, improving acquisition, win rates, deal sizes, and delivering quota with consistency.
    • Lead complex customer revenue-generating projects at the regional or global level as part of the EMEA Sales organization.
    • Drive the adoption of PagerDuty's validated sales methodology and expertise within the team.
  • Customer Acquisition and Expansion:
    • Drive new customer acquisition and customer expansion within the EMEA region.
    • Foster strong and effective relationships, resulting in growth opportunities.
    • Organize and lead weekly forecast meetings to assess the sales pipeline and strategize for future success.
Requirements
  • 5+ years quota-carrying field experience in a fast-paced and competitive market with a focus on closing net new logos.
  • Proven ability to coach, mentor, and develop sales talent.
  • A track record of accurately forecasting sales results and meeting a quota for Commercial high volume transaction business.
  • The ability to work in a fast-growing and dynamic environment.
  • Experience in creating a high-performance culture, bringing high ownership, and knowing how to create accountability in the teams they lead.
