Endoscopy Nurse Specialist

United Digestive seeks a skilled Registered Nurse (RN) to provide individualized and specialized nursing care to patients within our endoscopy center. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in GI endoscopy and be able to work independently with minimal supervision.
Key Responsibilities
- Plan, execute, and evaluate nursing care given to patients
- Provide individualized and specialized nursing care to patients within the endoscopy center
- Collaborate with physicians and other healthcare professionals to ensure high-quality patient care
- Maintain accurate and detailed patient records
- Participate in ongoing education and training to stay current with best practices in GI endoscopy
Requirements
- Current State license to practice as a Registered Nurse (RN)
- Graduate of an accredited school of nursing
- Experience in GI endoscopy preferred
- Membership in GI specialty or other local, state, or national professional societies encouraged
- Maintains Basic Cardiac Life Support certification
Working Conditions
The Registered Nurse for Endoscopy Procedures will work in a fast-paced endoscopy center environment, requiring the ability to work under stress and maintain a high level of concentration. The ideal candidate will be able to stand and walk for extensive periods, lift and carry items weighing up to 25 pounds, and have good visual acuity.
