Key Responsibilities:

  • Prepare, document, and manage accounts payable, cash disbursements, accounts receivable, and cash receipts.
  • Create allocation tables for indirect costs and revenue items as necessary.
  • Conduct monthly bank reconciliations.
  • Process payroll and manage deduction schedules.
  • Assist in posting accounts to the general ledger for various financial transactions.
  • Review outstanding invoice reports and follow up with payment schedules or necessary adjustments.
  • Support the comptroller during the year-end financial audit.
  • Maintain organized records, reports, and files.
  • Perform additional related duties as required.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting is preferred.
  • A minimum of 2 years of accounting experience in the hotel industry.
  • Ability to read and interpret business documents and governmental regulations.
  • Strong writing skills for reports and business correspondence.
  • Effective presentation skills for communicating with various stakeholders.
  • Proficient in calculations involving discounts, interest, and percentages.
  • Basic knowledge of algebra and geometry.
  • Experience in problem-solving with practical applications.
  • Ability to interpret diverse instructions in various formats.
  • Proficient in MS Office, particularly Excel, and familiar with PeopleSoft.
