Job Summary

As an MRI Technologist with Healthcare Staffing Plus, you will play a vital role in ensuring the highest quality patient care and service excellence. This position requires a strong technical skillset, with the ability to operate MRI equipment and facilitate care for patients.

Key Responsibilities

Verify physician orders and procedures to ensure accuracy
Utilize radiology information systems to facilitate care
Explain procedures to patients to ensure understanding
Independently operate equipment to complete imaging procedures according to protocol
Review patient images prior to transmission to ensure diagnostic quality standards

Requirements

BLS and ACLS certification
National Institutes of Health (NIH) certification
Sound knowledge of anatomy, physiology, pathology, and medical terminology
Ability to stand for extended periods
Strong technical skills
Knowledge of medical terminology
Passionate about patient care
Minimum of two years of current MRI Tech experience
Graduate from a fully accredited Radiology Tech program
Active unencumbered Louisiana Radiology Tech state license
One year of Epic experience

Preferred Qualifications

ARRT certification as an MR technologist with no experience
Certification in another clinical imaging field (such as ARDMS or NMTCB)
COVID vaccine with 2 Shots & Booster
