About the Role:
As the Emergency & Critical Care Clinical Supervisor, you will be instrumental in the training, management, and teamwork on the floor . Working closely with the management team and assistant supervisor, you will guarantee high-quality, comprehensive medical services to enhance both client and patient experiences. Your duties will include scheduling, training, and nurturing a collaborative environment among team members.
This position is primarily technical with some administrative responsibilities.
Compensation:
- $31 - $38 based on experience and skills assessment
- Potential for higher compensation with advanced qualifications
- Full-time, 36-40 hours per week, including one weekend shift and up to 3 holidays
- Assess staffing requirements in line with client needs and budgetary limits.
- Understand the workflow of each department to enhance operations.
- Actively engage in problem-solving for daily operations.
- Build positive relationships across all departments.
- Promote trust, respect, communication, and cooperation among team members.
- Advocate for the satisfaction of both internal and external clients.
- Serve as the primary resource for all departments when necessary.
- Organize and supervise the training and skills development of staff.
- Collaborate with personnel at all levels and departments to streamline service delivery while maintaining care quality and hospitality.
- Participate in the recruitment process, onboarding of new staff, and conducting performance evaluations.
- Oversee equipment maintenance and service requirements.
- CVT Required
- VTS is a significant advantage
- Associate's degree or equivalent work experience required
- Bachelor's degree preferred
- 3+ years of experience as a Veterinary Technician
- Must demonstrate effective leadership qualities.
- Ability to foster effective communication among team members
- Proven professionalism in all interactions
- Demonstrated ability to lead by example
